About 3 or 4 years ago my daughter, Jean, gave me my water based Cameo paints for my birthday and Christmas gift. We had started painting together back in 1977 when they were oil based. I painted for a while then other things came first and I did not paint for a long time. I can sit and paint for hours. I love how the water base Cameo paints are so low maintenance. I enjoy sewing also. A lot of my painting is incorporated into my sewing projects.

I needed a 50th anniversary gift so I painted a Flag with God Bless our Home. They loved it and so did I, so I painted another. I may give this one as a gift too. If I do I'll just paint another. |
I thought this was really cute, so I put it on a flag |
I wanted to have a seasonal cloth to cover my rotisserie. So I had a little fun creating my pumpkin patch. |

I am working on a quilt of flowers. I'm painting my quilt blocks but I have not yet decided what color I will put them together with. I still may put a butterfly, a dragonfly or ladybugs on some of these tops. |

I love fall leaves. I really enjoyed painting these. |

I needed something to cover my basket of bread when we went visiting. So I just played. I even put the watermelons seeds like they had fell off. |

Another one of my sewing projects. I thought these would be cute. |

This is one of the first item I painted when I got my paints. I sometimes get my hand in my wet paint and touch my project and getting paint where I do not want it. That's when I get creative. |

I wanted a holiday cloth to use so this is what I came up with. |

I thought this would be pretty. I still need to paint the table and doily. |
I needed something to paint so I decided to do a bird quilt. |
